Culinary News
Introduction
Austria can be seen and tasted. Its landscape, shaped by a wealth of unique regional traditions, becomes a culinary experience — from the alpine heights to the Pannonian wine-growing regions. Alongside its strong culinary traditions, however, another side of Austria is increasingly emerging — a bold and innovative one that is still often underrepresented.
A new generation of chefs and producers is attracting international attention with their pioneering spirit, contemporary approach, and passion for experimentation. They interpret their heritage in their own distinctive ways, combine craftsmanship with creativity, and see sustainability as a driving force for a future-ready culinary culture. The result is a powerful fusion of tradition and modernity.
We are putting the bold “young and wild” talents in the spotlight, showcasing the innovative strength of a culinary nation in transformation. Culinary experiences, however, do not end at the restaurant. They connect with movement and relaxation, as well as with art and culture — through culinary hikes, wine and cheese routes, tastings in museums, and culinary experiences by the water.
Join us on a journey of discovery through Austria and explore the diverse culinary culture of our country from a variety of perspectives.
