Need to Know
- ÖBB trains offer air conditioning, ample luggage racks, plugs for charging electronic devices, Wi-Fi and on-board restaurants (depending on train category). The ÖBB Railjet also offers a kids’ cinema.
- Exclusive for First Class passengers, lounges at many railway stations allow guests to relax and enjoy a coffee while waiting. In First Class, Austrian specialities are served directly to your seat and complementary newspapers are available.
- Children under the age of 6 travel free; children between the ages of 6 and 14 pay half-price.
- You can purchase an ÖBB Sparschiene ticket at exceptionally low rates (as little as €9).
One day in Austria
Morning Spend your morning exploring the baroque city of Innsbruck and head up the mountain by cable car directly from the city centre.
